Week 65: MOTHER'S DAY SKYPE COMING UP!

Hi everyone,

I am so excited because I get to see your face soon! We have changes a few days before skype... so if I change, I am not quite sure what time i will be on... you might have to just be by the computer all day.

My mission president leaves at the end of June, so it will be interesting to see what the new President will do! I will only be here for a month after the new President arrives.

I was surprised to hear about a volcano eruption in Chile! I had no idea a volcano even erupted here.  Wierdly, no one said a thing about it.  I guess I missed it! Ooops

Transfers are coming up and I have not idea if that will affect me in any way.  I am good either way.

The Elders had a baptism.  Her name is Nancy.

I appreciate all the love and support I get from home.  I can't tell you how important that support is in the mission field.  You are all awesome.  Thank you so much for all you do for me.

Love,

Hermana Watt

Week 63- I´m ALIVE!

Dear friends and family,

I am ashamed to say that I obviously haven´t written in a while... but thank goodness for repentance, right?

So for starters, IM SORRY.

BUT...

Chile is still amazing (: I am still here in Placilla,
working hard with my comp Hermana Morris, enjoying
not having to walk up and down huge hills. becuase
usally, that is all that Valparaiso is. BUT we lucked out (:

We are still in the works of finding the chosen children
of the Lord! We know that they are here somewhere (:
Just takes a little bit of faith on our part, and patience.

Easter was amazing. I love it here, because in the mission,
we focused so much more on the Savior, and everything that
he did for us. It means so much more to me now that I am here,
and it made me want to be that much better of a person for him,
because I know that the only thing I have that is truly mine to
give is my heart and my will. And I learned that it is worth any
sacrifice, especially because of the sacrifice that HE made for US.

I love the mission. It still changes my life every single day.
I want to extend forever... but apparently you can´t do that... awkward.

Mesach is doing great. The ward is amazing. My comp and I
are always laughing because we always do embarrassing things
on accident.

Placilla is great. Never wanna leave this place!

I know the church is true.

AND I love you all.

Love, Hermana Watt

Week 62> ZONE CONFERENCE, GENERAL CONFERENCE AND EASTER!

Guess what? I got my easter package JUST in time. I got it on Friday, and Easter was Sunday. WAHOO. It was the best, and I shared my candy with all the kids in the "English" room of General Conference. Needless to say it was the BEST! There are a lot of us Americans. The room was a little stuffy but we had a blast listening to the words of the Prophet and Apostles! Can´t believe it is my last one in the mission. :(

Time is flying by way too fast.

We are going to have interviews with the president this week. . I STAYED IN PLACILLA! YAY!

Mesach came to the conference.  That was great.

I am having an awesome time here!  We are searching for those who are ready to hear the gospel and are really trying to follow the spirit. The Lord is trying to change me through this experience into who He knows I can become before I go home. He knows everything.

We had a good Easter (: it was nice to have conference.  The good news is next Easter I will be there! Wahoo.

Won't be long till I'll be there with you.  I am looking forward to that but am still working hard here in Placilla.

Love you all,

Hermana Watt
